Patient communication is still a challenge, especially because it is of prime importance for motivation and a health-related self-management of patients. Addressing the patients’ needs and adapting communication to different behavioral types helps to conduct an efficient and satisfying conversation and to avoid unpleasant situations.

Content

The seminar provides insight and understanding for the different types of behavior preferences, patterns of reaction and motivations of patients. According to this, after the seminar you can adapt your communication strategy individually to the patient’s needs. It helps to get rid of frustration and fear of difficult patients and to increase the efficiency of consultations. One focus is on the communicative handling of depressive patients and patients that have already given up themselves respectively suffer under a loss of control.
